With a First Class Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art, I am highly knowledgeable in the fields of Contemporary Art, Design and Craft. From photography and sculpture to sewing and painting, I can help you learn new techniques and develop existing skills, whilst encouraging you to explore art practice from a variety of alternative perspectives.

I am fully insured and DBS checked, registered with the update service.

My teaching experience includes running arts workshops for adult learners over the past 3 years, and children aged 2-17 over the past year. I have also worked as a Supply Teaching Assistant within SEN and mainstream schools ranging from Nursery to Key Stage 2.

I am keen to gain further teaching experience in advance of starting my Master of Arts degree next Autumn, after which I hope to progress onto a PGCE for Further Education.

I approach teaching from a relatively relaxed perspective, listening to students' interests and needs from the outset in order to tailor the content of lessons to enhance and develop their skills. I find it extremely important to approach art education from a broad-ranging perspective, as no two artists are the same and so shouldn't be expected to practice from one point of view. I believe it is important for art practice to be fluid, so that concepts and ideas can be realised naturally, therefore utilising a range of mediums and methods.

My extensive knowledge of creative processes, art history and current concerns within the arts will ensure that you are continuously learning new things about yourself as a maker and the art world itself.

Please note that my fee is variable depending on whether sessions take place in person or online. All fees include the cost of travel and prep time.

I can't wait to start working with you!
